1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NoteVault (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. NoteVault LLC reserves the right to update these terms at any time, with notice provided through the platform.

2. Description of Service

NoteVault provides a software platform for managing tax overage recovery efforts and bank/mortgage note investments. The Service includes AI-powered analysis tools, deal tracking, document generation, portfolio management, and compliance information. The Service is provided “as is” and is intended as a management tool, not as financial, legal, or investment advice.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (d) scrape, copy, or redistribute Service content without permission; (e) use the Service to transmit harmful code or content.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by NoteVault LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data but grant us a limited license to process it as needed to provide the Service.

6. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Free tier accounts may be subject to usage limitations.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOTEVAULT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we may retain your data for a reasonable period per our data retention policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
